my excema is up again and my asthma is bad. i'm now on modrasone and use aqueous cream or something. is there any thing else i can use??  |

I had asthma alot when i was little, and i still do just not as uch mine mostly comes up if i go swimming or get wet and dnt dry off straight away i used to have a friends who had to wear bandages becuz of hers and she also had asthma it much come wit the asthma package |

i have my first orthadontic appt in 3 weeks time. my mouth is crowded and i have a tooth growing in my gum which is a bit strange. ive been told i need braces. |

i got quite a few baby teeth pulled when i was 13 or something, but i needed braces, which they wanted to put in asap, so they jsut pulled them. I am 18 now though, and there is still no sign of my wisdomteeth =) I hope I don't get them! |

dw littleshell im 15 in a few weeks (yahh wii fit lol) nd i have lost barely any baby teeth the only prob is it has pushed the adult teeth around so i might need braces  and i have vampire fangs lol  and some people never loose all there baby teeth

dont worry about that-everyone's teeth grow at different rates. i am 13 and still have lots of baby teeth, especially at the back of my mouth |

my mum calls me a reptile coz my hands are all sclaey from excema, and she complains that i keep loosing teeth, im 13 and i still have baby teeth???????????????????????? |

around the last couple of weeks my back has been really itchy especially at school and it drives you crazy. what makes it worse is that when you're in the middle of a lesson there's not realy much you can do about it. i dont think i have eczema but i might have. |

I have really mild eczema that only gets bad when its hot, but mum had bad eczema as a child (I think she ended up in hospital with it) and a close friend has quite bad eczema and I know what you mean about people dismissing it as something unimportant and a "one off itch" (and catching) - both of which it's not.

Eczema is awful, and often, like asthma, there's not proper cure - just medications that can help make it a bit easier to get on with your life.
Becca - mine is always worse when I'm stressed, too, but it never goes away.
I hate that people think its catching - and its Soooooo not! |

Backawayslowly, i'm really sorry about your friend.
I hate that attitude towards eczema- mine's fairly mild as it generally only occurs when I've eaten dairy or blackcurrant or am stressed, but the itch is so annoying and quite painful if it's open. I think a lot of people don't understand that it's not just a one off itch. |

people who haven't had seriously bad excma/itching cant really appreciate what it's like. last summer i had lots of itching on my back. it drives you insane. it wasnt really excma i dont think, but it was horrible. hemp helps to stop itching-but whether it helps with excma or not i dont know. i guess it probably would. |

Hi Sophie,
I'm really sorry to hear about your friend. That must have been a terrible shock for you and all her friends and family.
It seems a lot of people can dismiss Eczema as "just a bit of a rash", or, "just a bit of eczema". I don't think in general people realise how bad it can get. Does anyone else have any experience of people assuming that eczema is just a trivial complaint? |

i have excema on my hands, not too bad though! i had a m8 who had it really severly ALL over her body! she killed herself and some peeps said that was one reason(just a tiny part of it) =[ |

I have excema - I hate it! I don't think i have it as bad as you do though
I went to the doctors yesterday and I got given steroid cream and antibiotic capsules - hope they work! |
