Hey Stephanie welcome to the boards!! :-)
I do get embarassed alot when I have to take my inhaler in front of my friends. You shouldnt be afraid to tell your family or your frineds because they could help you. If you have an attack theyll now how to help you. When I can I take my inhaler in the bathroom. If your friends know you have asthma they probobly will be understanding about it and it should make you feel less embarassed. I did start a thread going a while ago called embarassed? if you want to check it out. Just dont bump! lol (bumping is when you make a post on an old topic and the thread goes all the way back to the top of the page)
Hope this helps!

Hey everyone! im new here! im pleased to meet you all! ^__^
I have noticed that it may be a common problem to feel embarassed by taking your inhaler in front of friends and family, i have the same problem.. I feel like i am making a fuss over nothing, even though i know im not! My family does not know alot of my friends don't, hence the reason why i get embarrassed all the time, is there any sort sort of advice going around to make you feel more comfortable around them?
Thanks all!
