Hey! It's rubbish when your asthma kicks off especially when you've had a really good spell but as hard as it seems try not to let it get to you. Have you been back to your GP or consultant? If not I'd suggest you do that, it may be you need a week of pred to get you back to normal or they may give you an additional/new preventer. Have you got a welfare officer or school nurse? As well as giving you support they may be able to speak to your teachers and if that fails get your mum or dad to phone in Hope you start feeling better soon annie x |

Hi everyone, haven't posted in ages as was getting much better but this year I've been having much more problems. Ive had three chest infections since christmas (Id never had one before then!!) and have suddenly started wheezing quite often (always been a non wheezer before) anyone have any idea why? its getting quite annoying, I cant do as much sport as I'd like and I feel ill so much that Ive missed quite a lot of school and am falling behind, which teachers dont understand and dont give me any help. i guess what Im trying to say is that Im getting stressed more aswell, which probs isnt helping! sorry for ranting, just feeling a little low, any help? love evie |
