I feel the same, I hate having to take my inhaler at school cause everyone makes fun of me for it. They think I am over-acting it as I am of school A LOT with my asthma and no one believes me anymore so I leave taking my inhaler infront of others til the last minute. I hate complaining when I don't feel well and need to take my inhaler aswell, but if you don't take your inhaler you will just get worse and worse and it might develop into a really serious asthma attack.

If you just say to your P.e teacher that you need to take your inhaler or, if your playing games or something just stop, go out the room and get your inhaler and if the P.e teacher asks why you left just say that you couldn't breath properly and they most likely will understand.

As for your P.e teacher shouting at you, he has a responsibility for you and your health so if you have trouble breathing, are feeling tight chested and need your inhaler or need to sit out of P.e then he can't make you do it. You should get your mum to maybe write a note to your school and or p.e teacher to explain the severity of if you don't take your inhaler at the time in which you need it.

I hope this helped

Hi Ellsbells
If you have trouble breathing or any symptoms you should not be afraid to tell someone about it. I'm so sorry to hear that your p.e. teacher yelled at you for that. Don't be afraid to tell your teacher when you have symptoms, and if they yell at you, thats horrible. Try telling an adult you trust about your p.e. teacher, they can help. Also, people shouldn't think you are making a fuss because asthma is serious. I hope this helps you!

When I have trouble breathing or have a tight chest I don't like to say because I think people will say I am just making a fuss and won't beleive me. One time I told my P.E teacher and he just shouted at me :S Any advice??
