Hi Missrandom like you im also 16 and doing my GCSE'S this year and dreading it lol I fortunately did not miss many days this year. Why don't you tell the doctor at hospital or just the surgery EXACTLY how your asthma has been bothering you and maybe he can change or increase your meds so that you feel better As for the people who give you dirty looks - ignore them their not important but if its bothering you that much maybe you could get a different type of inhaler? my MDI does make a noise but powders don't work for me lol As for the friends just tell you that you have asthma and your taking your medicine to make sure you will be ok Hope this helps a bit, Asthmachick xXx |

I don't like it...I don't like it at all... I have asthma and well...Obvious I think lolz... I like miss school a lot, and I am sixteen so it's exam year for me...No one understands...I think most of my teachers think I fake it when I am off and so do people at school, I don't like it and I am like always in hospital but nothing I do or anyone else does helps...I feel really asthmatic at the moment and will do what I always seem to do...Leave it to last minute to phone 999 for an ambulance, does anyone else have this problem? Also the dirty looks I get on the bus, at the train station and when I go to school, when I take my inhaler, as it's an easi-breath and kinda makes noise when I take it...Any advice? Also one more thing...Any advice on trying to get people to stop thinking you're dying? Just my friends always ask if I;m dying when I take my inhaler Thanks Nicole x |
