yeah thanks x i go swimming tomorrow morning and i will try talking to him then and by the way he knows i have asthma and he knows that there are 5 of us in the squad with it and he knows quite a lot about it because he does do checks and things with us every so ofter and always makes sure that we have our inhaler with us. You should try talking to them, if you have any leaflets about asthma and inhalers that the doctor might have given you, then give them to them to read and see if that helps them understand that asthma can be really severe if your having an attack and need to take your inhaler but can't. If that fails then maybe get your parents to talk to them and maybe express a level of concern about the fact that maybe since he is working with children some of whom do have asthma then he maybe needs to take a course on it or read up on it. In the end he can't stop you taking your inhaler, if you need it then there's no way that you can stop yourself needing it really. So just get out the pool and take it, it's saving your life afterall. Hope everything goes okay and this helps Nicole x |

i belong to a swimming club but my coach doesnt understand when i need to stop to take my inhaler what should i do??? |
