I know it sounds boring, but take your medicines by the clock, and make sure you take your reliever before you exercise to help reduce the likelihood of an attack. The more you get into a good routine and keep your airways open and less inflamed the easier life will be.
Persevere. These things take a little time to start working. xx

Hi my asthma was diagnosed only a few months ago so its all kinda new to me. I'm really struggling though I thought I got it under control with the brown inhaler but then I had a bad attack and been given the purple one (seretide). My asthma just seems to be out of control all the time and it's getting me down coz I love sport and can't do it as much anymore. Usually I don't have a bad bad attack just a flare up that last for a few days but its really hard to cope in those few days coz i'm 15 my parents expect that I can just deal with it but what can I do to help kep it under control.
