It's loud isn't it! I use seretide with an aerochamber and salbutamol with one if I'm really bad, I also take montelukast

i've changed again, now on Symbicort, Salbutamol with an aerochamber and montelukast 10mg. I prefer the aerochamber myself, it's a lot more discreet, but i don't like using it infront of people because if you breath wrongly it makes a noise.

Eugh my preventer has been changed now, i now have Qvar 50 aerosol, and have to take 2 puffs morning and night, My nurse was actually kind to me for once, The reason why i have been told to take 2 puffs morn and night, is cos i suffer from bad breathlessness and still been told to use my preventer with an aerochamber what do you prefer? aerochambers or the spacer?

I'm in the middle meds change but at the moment i'm on symbicort (combined inhaler) which is a turbohaler and salbutamol autohaler. I have an aerochamber from when i was on beclamethasone and serevent mdi's. I used to have a volumatic which i hated cos it was huge.

Ive just switched from a ventilon (ones you have to press) to a turbohaler (dry powder) I have been using it for 2 days now, and it is alot easier. My nurse was very helpful and helped a tonne, try to ask about it more with your doctor?? That helped with me. The small spacers aren't for smaller children, I was offered one and I'm 11! Hoped that helped, -x-Bee-x-

i have a spacer too, but maybe the smaller ones are especially for smaller children, although im not too sure. i also have aerosol inhalers, although to start with i did have both easy-breath (which i found didnt actually help) and then i had another diffrent one which i cant remeber whats it was called. all very strange...

Im really confused, there r soo many inhalers, so y do i get the 1s that u have 2 press, instead of turbo halers etc. when i mention dry powder inhlers 2 my docter he acts like theirs no such thing. Also i have 1 of those big spacers not the small ones like aerochambers. Y?
